Ride Electric e Bike Tours offer an enjoyable approach to visiting a region with e Bikes. We have prepared a range of guided rides which make it possible to reach sites of scenic and cultural interest that would be too difficult, or too distant, to access on foot. This approximately three-hour excursion around the historic coastal area north of the Tyne will start and finish at The Lock a wonderful restaurant at the Albert Edward Dock Royal Quays Marina in North Shields. You will take in 1,000 years of history in a trip along the riverfront following a route along the coast, through a dune path to Blyth South Beach, visiting St Mary’s Lighthouse, Collingwood’s Monument, the museum of the Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade, Tynemouth Castle & Priory and Cullercoats village along the way. You will finish with a refreshment stop at The Lock and enjoy the wonderful hospitality on offer. Surface and terrain This route combines roads without traffic and paved paths. The tour will feature a few short steeper hills which you will easily scale with your eBike. Prices Our tours offer excellent value for money, interesting, educational and are really great fun! The tours may be customised to suit your own choice of route or number of riders. We include a short familiarisation session to help you with the operation of your eBike. There is no need to wear special clothing – we provide helmets and warm, waterproof clothing as required. The price for the trip which includes: use of high quality electric bike, clothing, instruction, guide, coffee/tea refreshments, is £60/person (there is a minimum number of 3 people required per trip).
